Swanky City Style Meets Fall Romance at the Minnesota State Capitol & Steady Pour

On a brisk November day in 2024, downtown St. Paul set the scene for a wedding that blended swanky city vibes with soft, romantic charm. The ceremony took place at the iconic Minnesota State Capitol — a stunning architectural backdrop for a couple who knew exactly what they wanted: an elegant, meaningful day filled with love, family, and elevated floral design.

Without a planner, the bride took the lead and was incredibly organized from the start. She reached out to Bumble Fleur with a vision for simple green and white florals — but together, we built on that foundation, gently introducing muted mauves and warm beige hues to reflect the richness of the season. The result? A bouquet that was soft, sculptural, and perfectly layered for a late fall wedding.

The celebration continued at Steady Pour, one of Minneapolis’ trendiest new venues. Intimate and elevated, the reception space glowed with dozens of candles, delicate bud vases, and artful floral touches tucked into every corner. The overall effect was cozy but upscale — like a dinner party in a dream.

Working without a planner can feel daunting, but this collaboration was a reminder that thoughtful communication (and a good spreadsheet!) can make magic.
