Turn Your Bridal Shower Into an Unforgettable Floral Design Experience

Hosting a floral design class at your bridal shower is the perfect blend of beauty, bonding, and celebration.

When it comes to planning a bridal shower, many hosts are looking for something a little more meaningful than the traditional games-and-gifts format. Enter: a hands-on floral design class, thoughtfully styled, joy-filled, and completely unforgettable. One of our favorite recent examples was a stunning English Tea Party–themed bridal shower created in collaboration with Kastina & Co. for our bride, Jessica.

Hosted in the charming Linny Studio space at LynHall in Minneapolis, this bridal shower was the perfect blend of elegance, creativity, and connection. The vision? A modern take on an English tea party: soft, romantic, and intentionally designed to make guests feel both pampered and inspired.

A Bridal Shower Experience Guests Will Actually Remember

The event featured a full high tea service, complete with delicate finger sandwiches, pastries, tea, sweet treats, and a signature cocktail that tied beautifully into the overall theme. The space itself set the tone: bright, airy, and inviting, with just the right amount of old-world charm to support the English garden aesthetic.

For the floral design portion of the shower, the maid of honor sourced a collection of mismatched vintage vases, each one unique, full of character, and perfectly aligned with the tea party theme. These vessels became the foundation of our floral design class, giving guests something personal and meaningful to take home at the end of the celebration.

A Floral Design Class That Feels Approachable, Not Intimidating

As guests arrived, we handled all setup: florals, tools, table styling, and instruction materials. Once everyone was settled, I led a fun, cutesy, and approachable floral design lesson tailored specifically to the event’s English garden theme.

We worked with soft, romantic blooms like baby’s breath, tulips, and other garden-style florals that felt timeless and elegant without being overly complicated. Guests learned the basics of floral design: how to build a balanced arrangement, work with movement and texture, and care for their flowers, while still having plenty of time to sip cocktails, chat, and celebrate the bride.

The best part? No prior experience required. Floral design classes at bridal showers are meant to be interactive, joyful, and inclusive, not stressful or overly technical. Every guest left with a beautiful arrangement they were proud of and a new appreciation for the artistry behind floral design.
